Hardware ID - install dilemma

I think I'm doing this correctly, but the instructions on the page are ambiguous.
I've installed Localizer GUI. When I start it I'm simply confronted with a message that my trial period expired last year sometime (I indeed tried installing Localizer in 2014 and quit trying to get it to work after having to move to another project).
So, I've purchased both Localizer GUI and a one-port license. How in the heck do I get this software installed?

I'm going to answer my own question in case someone else has the same problem.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Centrafuse\Localizer
Run HID.exe
Open HarwareID.txt
