Directed hd radio
Question asked by Jeff - December 31, 2015 at 2:42 PM
I am going to use centrafuse for my car pc project.. and a directed HD radio, w/ Mitches USB cable so centrafuse can control the radio,
My question is this,, will this cable pass the audio signal ( via usb data ) to my PC so my on-board sound processor Realtek ALC888S can output the sound via the PCs line out?
Thanks for the help in advance,,,

I don't personally use this device, but a DAB+ receiver (I live in Europe). However what I understand from whatever I can find about this device, is that audio is transfered over a separate (RCA) audio cable, so you would need an internal or external sound card with a line-in input. USB is only used to control the device.
Note: You probably need Mitch's cable set too to improve audio quality.
Have fun,

Jeff - I have the Directed module, and it works nicely. You have to use the USB for operation of the module and you have to use the RCA to mini for the sound. Just plugs into the input port on the motherboard.
